"Love without Reason, Bloom without Season"

The other day I read that quote, "Love without Reason, Bloom without season." by Debasish Mridha for the first time. I didn't really understand what it meant but had set it as my wallpaper on my phone. Today, it hit me.

Currently, I'm dealing with a situation with some friends of mine, which I won't go into detail about. But after thinking and praying immensely about it, I unlocked my phone and there it was, that quote starring me in the face. And it clicked.

Bloom without season, be the best you can be no matter what is going on around you, no matter what your circumstances are. Live up to the potential that God has for you. He knows that you can do SO MUCH if you just try. Strive every single day. Don't let even one day go by where you didn't do something that you know was worthwhile.

Love without Reason. No matter what someone's flaws are, treat them right. Treat them fairly. Even if they annoy you with their attitude or something. That is not your job to teach them that, it's Gods. Instead, look at yourself. What are your flaws that you need to work on? Without reason, meaning you have no cause. Smile at someone just because you can. Laugh at yourself because you can. Be extra kind for no reason at all. If you live this way, it will change your life I promise.

This may seem like such a simple thing and a simply quote that may make sense to you right away. But this hit me full on this evening as I sit here drinking my tea and listening to The Hobbit on audiobook. And I felt the need to share.

  1. That's a lovely thought, I must say.

  2. Wow Kimi you are really inspiring! You write really well! :)
